YASU (yet another small update)...

On the home front, as I've said, I've accepted the job offer; however, it will be about two weeks before I start...so counting down the days.  I'm also still interviewing, so who knows, something better may come along, but right now, I am planning on this current job offer.  The problem I am looking at is I won't get paid for 2 weeks when I start working, and I obviously cannot claim unemployment during that time...so have a feeling my credit card is going to get a tad of use until I can get my first paycheck.  Sucks to rack up some debt, but little I can do about it  :(  At least I know there's light at the end of the tunnel!

Been working on my Assumptions story all week.  Mostly editing and changing it (again).  The plot has drifted away quite a bit from the original story (if you read the spoiler I posted awhile back).  Now it's more about a couple that goes to a frat/sorority reunion party and the husband tells the wife to "let her hair down and enjoy the party."  So the wife does just that and her and the husband pretty much do their own thing at the party, but the story follows the hubby who is left to his own devices.  The entire story leaves both the husband AND the reader making quite a few assumptions...at no time is anything definitive stated in the story, so it's quite apropos for the title, LOL.  This story has little sex in it and instead explores the psyche of the husband and his suddenly discovered feelings on the POSSIBILITY of his wife straying...but again, I'm leaving it up to the reader to assume the best or worse, hehehe.

Also been working on some graphics, playing around some more with lighting and poses.  I'm trying to find another story to illustrate on Literotica, so if anybody has any suggestions that I might work on, I'm pretty open to suggestions.  Of course, I would have to like the story and it would have to have a bit of a storyline, but if it's just a single or even two-chapter type story you might like to see illustrated, let me know...looking for the practice!

Small Update...

Haven't posted in almost a week, so figured I'd at least post something, LOL...

I received feedback from GeorgeTasker on both continuing his Brandi Vavoom series as well as his appreciation of the images I rendered from his Crooked Cops and Counterfeit Jugs stories.  Much appreciated!  I don't know when I'll find time to continue the story, but it has now been added to the steadily growing stories I want to do.

I've been working on and off on both my Assumptions story and Lapdancing 06.  Not much to make a difference, as this weekend I wasn't in a very good place to write.

I did do some fantasy renders and such, but then I had one render basically blow up on me and corrupt my save, so got frustrated and spent the rest of the weekend watching television, hehehe.  As a side note, Captain Phillips was a pretty decent movie...

On the work-front I got an offer I will be accepting, so the days of sitting on my ass at home are almost over!  I'm still working out a few things with them, but it is basically a done deal.  I'm doing a few other interviews just to finish things up, but short of them offering a "OMG I can't refuse this!" salary, it looks like things are finally over in terms of the unemployment stuff.  That's both good and bad, as I have found mornings to be the best time to write, and now with a job, that time is limited to the weekends, but I'd rather eat first, write second!  ;)  I DO appreciate all the kind words and prayers from all of you, so glad that weight is finally lifted...

Random Updates...

Writing
Have been working mostly on my "Assumptions" story.  It is where my Muse has led me, and although I know there are people anxious for Lapdancing 06 and another chapter of Annie, I can't write what I'm not in the mood to write.  It would be a disservice to the readers if I was not able to put 100% of my thoughts and effort into the story, and right now, that is in my Assumptions story.  Whether I will finish it or not yet remains to be seen, LOL, but that's where I stand currently.
In that regard, I am up to 32 pages Word format, and maybe 50% done...so it's going to be about a 10 pager on Literotica.  As I'm still not done with it, who knows, but that's the current trend, LOL.
I have worked a little on Lapdancing 06, so it's not completely set aside, but as I'm just writing "fluff" until the syndication party, there's not much to mention there!

3D Graphics
So from the few comments I've gotten on the 3D Graphics I did for Brandi Vavoom, have been favorable.
Once common question which has come up several times is why did I choose to create images for a story not my own.  Although I've answered in the comments section and e-mails, I wanted to go over it again in case people don't read the comments.
The main reason I did not do an illustrated story of my own stories is eventually the intent is to charge for them.  I did not want to do one of my stories--even if that series is not completed--and then turn around and charge for the same pictures I released free.  I already feel bad charging for a story that's been posted freely on Literotica, but I feel the time and effort I will put into the illustrations makes up for that cost.
In addition, I am well aware I am a novice in the 3D Computer Graphics world.  I wanted the practice, so chose a story that resounded within me to illustrate.  I've already learned quite a bit from other artists' comments on these renders, and have made some major improvements in my work, which was the main intent.  I wanted to learn, and I do not want to charge readers for shoddy work, so want to put my best effort into it.  If I am going to illustrate my own stories and charge for them, you deserve the best.  So practice, practice, practice!  I fully expect to do one or two more similar projects to learn some more.

The Homefront
I GOT A JOB OFFER!  That does not mean I've accepted it yet, but we're negotiating salary and whatnot.  I am still interviewing (have had 3 interviews this week and have 2 more in the next 2 days), but the job offer I got was not unreasonable.  I made a big mistake in filling out the application for the company that offered the job, and that's why we're negotiating the salary--I put down some wrong information (still not sure how I did that) and so their offer was based off of that.  Hopefully things will work out, we'll just see, but as I said, I'm still interviewing...

That's everything going on now.  Hopefully I'll have a story out soon, whether it is Assumptions or Lapdancing I don't quite know yet, as well as a job...but things are moving forward!

And now for something completely different Part 2 - Crooked Cops and Counterfeit Jugs

EDIT:  There's been some problems with posting the images, so attempting a second method, please let me know if you can see all the images!  Unfortunately, this method you'll have to open, close, open, close each method as apparently linking the full large image didn't work...so we'll try thumbnails...

As I mentioned in previous posts, when I was burned out from writing Lapdancing 06 and working on my Christmas graphics for cards and such, I needed to reboot my mind.  In looking through Literotica and other sites for inspiration, I came across the story Crooked Cops and Counterfeit Jugs by GeorgeTasker which gave me some inspiration in illustrating his story.

The world of Brandi Vavoom was just the sort of tongue-in-cheek, unbelievable story I needed to kick start my Muse.  It was good practice in not only working on an illustrated project, but gave me some insight and experience working with the 3D Graphics.  Overall I'm happy with the way the images turned out; however, I am a NOVICE and I realize there are a lot of mistakes or things I should have done differently.  Even now, looking through them, I realize if I had to do the images all over again (even after devoting over three weeks towards it), I would do them entirely different.

Still, I would appreciate some comments, as this is my first attempt at a long paneled project.  Although the images are in a different style than what I would do for my own stories (see previous post on the various base models for 3D imaging), they still are along the lines of what I would put out in public for my stories...so curious if people find them interesting or the inevitable question of "if I put out illustrated versions of my stories, would people buy them?" hehehe.

Anyways, without further ado, here is my graphical interpretation of Brandi Vavoom's initial adventures:

And now for something completely different!

Burned out...
I mentioned around Christmas I had gotten burned out writing Lapdancing 06 and working on the Christmas graphics I posted.  When that happens, I usually don't need to stop writing or stop doing graphics, I just need to do a complete change of venue.  In terms of writing, that was starting the new story I have mentioned already--Assumptions.
That story has changed over the last few weeks both from reader feedback and my own thoughts.  Now, although the basic scenes and such are similar, the story is a lot more obscure in terms of who the husband actually sees having sex.  I am being very ambiguous--at this point, it may be the wife, it may be one or more of her sorority sisters...nobody knows.  The "assumptions" in this case apply to both the husband and the reader.  I am still not sure how I'm going to end it, LOL--originally it was about a husband who catches his wife fooling around, but now...even I am not sure of the final outcome!

3D Graphics Muse...
In terms of graphics, I also needed a different venue.  When I get into burned out moods like this, usually it is due to writing, so I typically start trolling the Literotica forums as well as doing random story searches.
In doing a random search on Literotica, I struck a proverbial gold mine!  I found a story that was whimsical (the mood I needed at the time), completely unbelievable (which is opposite to what I write as I strive to make my stories believable), and something to give me a topic to do some images to practice with.

Now for some FYI type information.
I have mentioned in the past I am thinking about creating illustrated versions of my stories--once I actually FINISH one, LOL.  The general feedback from you, the readers, has been favorable towards offering an illustrated purchasable version of the stories where I can give my own vision of how I envision the scenes.
Looking around the internet, such stories typically range anywhere from $5.00-15.00 (US).  I would probably be looking on the lower end of things, but it all depends on how things go, how much time it takes, and if there are any initial fees involved in making such productions.
As I am fairly new to the 3D Graphics arena, I want to get some practice and perfect my artistic talents before I expect to charge money for anything I create.  The more images I can do, the more tricks I can learn.  I'm hoping some people may know a thing or two about graphics and photography who can give me feedback, I'm open to any and all suggestions.

My Graphical Inspiration.
So as I mentioned, I found a story on Literotica I decided would be a good practice for illustrating a story.  Enter the world of Brandi Vavoom by GeorgeTasker.  Brandi is a B-movie starlet who is the epitome of a big-breasted blonde bimbo, LOL.  The story starring her is Crooked Cops and Counterfeit Jugs (and Chapter Two).
I found the story quite humorous and inspirational.  In fact, I've actually started a second story adding to the world of Brandi Vavoom (I have several ideas!).  I requested to continue the story from the original author, although I have not heard back from them, also mentioning I was interested in illustrating his story.
The reason for my interest is I am always looking for something new to test my writing skills on, and the world of Brandi is completely different from my normal type of stories.  In my stories I try to be somewhat believable; however, in Brandi's world, not only is she stupid (sucking a stranger's dick as a sobriety test?) but willing to do what it takes to be the best actress she can (anal sex!).  Hence the whimsical portion, LOL.
I thought it would be a good diversion to go with the flow instead of having to think about realistic situations the protagonist would get thrown into, so decided to try and illustrate the above stories and see how it would go and how long it would take for practice and experience.

A little about 3D Graphics.
Before I post all the pictures of the story, I should talk a little about 3D Graphics.  The program I use is Daz Studio, a free graphical package.  The other type of software similar is Poser, which is a purchasable product.  Although free, DS offers as many options as Poser, and some decent images can be gleaned from it.
Whether using Poser or Daz Studio, the basic thing to know is there are different "base" figures you can use to start your character off.  I am only interested in the female characters, so will review the most popular ones:
Victoria is the most widely used character base for both Poser and Daz.  There have been several iterations of Victoria, the most popular being 4.2 which was released around 2008.  Victoria is a character created by the makers of Daz Studio, and the most current version is Victoria 6...but by far the most items, clothes, etc. are based upon V4.2.
Victoria is basically the most "realistic" model for most fantasy, gothic, steampunk, and regular graphical renders.  You load your base V4.2 model, then add your textures (for skin, hair, eyes, etc.), then the morphs for head/face looks and body types, then clothes, then props, then background, etc. etc.  There are HUNDREDS of different morph packages out there, so you buy what you want for characters and such, but Vickie 4.2 is the most widely used for "real" type images.
  • Aiko
Aiko is Daz 3D's answer to an anime character.  The girls have larger eyes, bigger heads, and so forth and are meant to serve as a means of doing anime type characters for CG/3D Graphics.
  • Genesis
Genesis Evolution: Morph Bundle

Genesis is a Daz Studio specific base (although can be used with Poser, you need to do some tweaking and such to get it to work) and the original series was useable for both male and female characters.  The second generation of Genesis (2) has specific male and female versions, supposedly to get better pose and higher quality characters compared to the first version.  The same figure base can be used for male/female/children/monsters/etc.
  • The Girl
the Girl 4 Base
The Girl is sort of a pin-up type model...large eyes, big breasts, Barbie-type figure, and although I did not usually have in interest in her, Brandi Vavoom seemed like the perfect G4 character!
Most of my illustrations use the Victoria series of base models; however, when I read about Brandi Vavoom, I immediately thought of The Girl!  What better character to use as a base than a big-breasted, thin-waisted, sexy girl!?  And so you will see all of these images utilizing The Girl...

So this weekend I'll post my graphical illustration of the stories, but wanted to post some general stuff for basic background so some of you understand WHY I actually went this route, hehehe.

Small Update...

This has been a bit of a slow week.  I've been working on some graphics and my Assumptions story on and off, so those are moving forward, but not at the pace I was on last week.  Just trying not to burn out on them again.  I am starting to get an itch for Diamond again, so plan on continuing Lapdancing 06 once I get to a point where I want to quit with Assumptions.  I'm hoping that point won't come until it's done and submitted, so we'll see.

Had four job interviews in the last week...which is more than I've had the entire time in 2013...so hoping this month and year is THE year.  A couple look promising, so keeping my fingers crossed.  It's getting down to the wire where I HAVE to find something, regardless of whether I like it or not, but they all seem to be decent jobs.  It's just nobody was hiring the end of the year, but now that everybody is back from vacations and such, people are in more of a "hiring" mode.  Again, keeping my fingers crossed.

Assumptions

I mentioned earlier that I got a bug up my ass (my Muse poking me until I listened to her) about a new story where a husband, happily married to his wife of ten years, finds that when his wife told him she was a 'wild party-er' in college, he falsely assumed she was simply a heavy drinker, when in fact, she was a slut.  As I so eloquently put it, "she spent more time in college with her legs open than a book."

Teasers of the story can be found in the photo album or in the little teaser gadget to the right.

I'm already 25 pages (Word Format, so about 5 Literotica pages) into the story; however, I've come to a crossroads in terms of how I should work the story.

NOTE, THE HIDDEN TEXT CONTAINS SPOILERS TO THE STORY.  I AM LOOKING FOR READER INPUT; HOWEVER, IF YOU DO NOT WISH TO KNOW THE PLOT, AVOID CLICKING THE BUTTON OR READING THE COMMENTS!!!

Small update...Halloween photos

Just a small update currently...

In going through my picture albums this morning, I discovered I never made my Halloween teaser images public.  I've corrected that, so even though it's long been released, you can find some of the teaser images here...

First post of the New Year!

So family pulled out Sunday, so once again have the house to myself.  I had a sudden inspiration for a new story hit me, and literally pulled an all-nigher writing it.  I am entitling it "Assumptions" and have posted a bit of a teaser in the photo section, which you can also see on the right sidebar.

The gist of the story is a husband and wife have been married for ten years, both happy, but they have been a typical "cookie cutter" marriage and the "perfect" family.  The wife was a bit of a wild child in college, but the husband never really asked her about it.  Then a reunion with her sorority and Big Brother fraternity is scheduled and the husband decides they should go, telling the wife to have fun.

The title is "Assumptions" because the husband makes many different false assumptions.  First his wife told him she was a wild child at parties, but he thought it was merely alcohol or marijuana...not that she was a complete slut.  It is more about him mistaking or making false assumptions about her--it's not that she is hiding anything, he just never asked the right questions.

Anyways, so far it is looking to be a two part story.  I'm about halfway through the first chapter, but I needed a brief interlude before tackling Lapdancing 06 once more...

Also have been working on some 3D Graphics which I hope to share soon.  I am making a series of images, and hope to be posting them by the end of the week, but we'll see how things go.

Right now tired as shit from being up all night writing.  I seriously got so absorbed into the new story I looked at the clock and realized it was 4:30 am and decided to keep writing.  Although I took a brief nap, it's catching up with me now, LOL...

Happy 2014!

Wishing everybody a very happy and even better New Year for 2014!

I'm not one who is big on New Year's resolutions, but I do hope to progress all my series further...that includes Annie, LOL, who many seem to think I've given up on.  I will say my focus right no is on finishing Lapdancing Girlfriend.  I have had 10-11 chapters planned, so once I release Chapter 06 it will be past the 50% mark and downhill, LOL!

Hope everybody's new year is a good one...
