Was a bad weekend in terms of finding time for writing or graphics :( I was doing some long-overdue maintenance on my system, upgrading my laptop to Windows 10 (which failed), and getting my son's system ready for Windows 10...all of which took way more time than I had planned...as in all fricking weekend!
I worked a little on Extenuating Circumstances. The more I think about it, the more I plan on providing the story in the previously revealed storyboard form, as well as PDF form, as well as the provided high resolution images. That makes distribution a bit of a problem, but will figure that out before release...which is a long way ahead, LOL. Then again, if I release the story to Literotica in pure text, I may not have to worry about the PDF form for e-readers. But again, long way off...
Worked a bit more also on my Lifeguard story, but nothing really to show for it other than grammatical edits, a few paragraphs being rearranged, etc.
One bit of good news...I've been asked to contribute my 3D graphical art to an art book! I get a royalty and all...which isn't really why I'm doing it, but that will help. The main reason is the exposure. My art will be alongside the likes of Brothers Hildebrandt and many other well-known artists, so it will be a privilege to have something around those names!
Ran a bunch of errands over the weekend which also impacted my "me" time, LOL...so all in all, not a satisfying weekend...and now starting what already looks to be a crappy week at work, so even this early Monday morning looking forward to the weekend! ;)

Update 08/03/2015
Yup, you're eyes are not deceiving you...two updates back-to-back, LOL.
Was working on a more "quality" render for an Extenuating Circumstances scene, in light of my character introductions not impressing some people ;) This is the opening sequence of what I would consider the graphic story...so curious as to what people's thoughts are, for good or bad.
As I was putting this together and letting it render for a few hours, I thought how I would post a graphical story. What I envision is more than a comic strip, and even more than just inserting images into a story like my Skyrim story. I wanted something entertaining, visually stimulating, and that would make people want to buy additional items. In putting together the storyboard, I discovered that making such things does not necessarily provide a high quality image because of the low resolution needed for E-readers and online reading. I am now thinking to provide the graphical story in PDF format, but with an attachment containing all the high resolution images as well.
What do you think?
For example this is kind of what a page of the PDF would look like:
As you can see, the image loses a lot due to the conversion and whatnot...but the software allows me to publish to Kindle, Comic Book format, and other formats, as opposed to all the workarounds I would have to do in Photoshop.
Here is the full high-resolution image:
Obviously a much cleaner image (and hopefully of a caliber people would consider buying).
But what does everybody think? Does the storyboard version lose too much in the conversion? And would it be enough compensation to provide the original high resolution image with the storyboard PDF version that people could live with it?
The alternative is to fall back to a Word-type document where the pictures are just inserted at key points, but I like the storyboard version because I can add little things that "fit" better...like when describing how her skirt rides up to show her garters, I can put in a smaller image showing that in the margin, without losing the ambiance of the story.
Just bouncing ideas around...and you all are my sounding board, LOL...so please, tell me what you think!

Update 08/02/2015
God, I cannot believe it's already AUGUST.
This past week not much got done. I was out sick last week for a couple days, so had to make up the lost time at work...so ended up having 5 12-hour days...so by the time the weekend came, I didn't want to do much of anything.
Yesterday went through more Extenuating Circumstances 0101...I'm about 75% through it...damn, I write some long stories, LMAO! Takes a while when you're going over every single work, sentence, and paragraph to find any mistakes, clean up some stuff, and what have you.
Then I had a system failure and it took the rest of the day to get back to where I was. My NAS started acting up and it ended up being a bad cable, but it took HOURS to figure out what the heck was going on because the symptoms were intermittent...which made troubleshooting it even more grueling. So didn't get much of anything done from about noon to midnight...and by then, was too tired to do anything.
Still no decision on posting EC0101 on Literotica or holding out to make it a published work. You all weren't much help, LMAO...just kidding, sort of. The problem I know is many of you want to see SOMETHING, actually ANYTHING published by me at this point...it HAS been a while...so the prospect of an already-finished piece is like a carrot dangling in front of you. So you want me to post a piece, or at least finish my current "shiney" so I can work on the next piece.
Anjali made a comment in my last post about my graphics not being of sufficient quality to make them interested in purchasing them. It was a fair statement, as all I've shown in most of my graphics here have been rough drafts and nothing' I've really taken the time to do..but it still gnaws at me ;) For those interested, I again mention if you want to see my alter ego's work, PM/e-mail me and I'll point you to my Facebook page. I think my work there will speak as to the quality of my images. But even if you don't, I've decided to spend some time and make the first image to EC0101 and post it here...that way you can see the quality and style I'll be shooting for at least for that story...so it will hopefully be coming in the next week or so.
Still working on Lifeguard Gets Wet...I just needed a change after focusing upon it for so long so blew off the dust on EC0101...but will be getting back to Lifeguard probably today. I already KNOW what I'm going to be writing about, so I'm hoping the rough draft will be done in soon enough and I can send it to the artist for a review...make edits, and hoping to finish...by then I'll hopefully know what I'm doing with EC0101, LOL.

Introducing Suzanne Carter (née Simmons)
One of my goals has always been to publish ILLUSTRATED versions of my stories. I've always posted the FREE text versions online, so feeling that pulling them and beginning to charge for them was an injustice to those newly discovering the stories on Literotica, I thought changing them enough such that they were illustrated would draw in both old fans and new.
It has been suggested my newest story, Extenuating Circumstances which involve Suzanne, Jen' (aka Diamond from Lapdancing Girlfriend) I publish straight out and skip posing on Literotica.
So I'm torn... Waiting to publish Extenuating Circumstances means a delay in posting anything. I am still working on finishing up my Lifeguard Gets Wet story...as that will be illustrated by an artist who has requested it as a commission...but not sure what to do from there.
Lapdancing Girlfriend 06 is somewhere between 75-90% completed (honestly don't remember where I left off as my attention has been on Lifeguard)...so it would be the next one to follow being posted on Literotica if I hold off.
But curious what you all think.
Writing is a hobby, as such, I devote limited time to it. If I start getting paid for published works, that would give more incentive into putting more time into it as I would have it as additional income. But I know it's been a year now since I published anything and people are getting antsy.
Curious to hear what you think!
In the meanwhile, I've been working on prototypes for Suzanne and her illustrations which I want to do with EC. Starting new and fresh with a story not yet published means I can tilt the story to help out the illustrations and vice versa. If I go back and illustrate one of my existing stories, some things will need to be changed (outfits, colors, and the like) in case I cannot find something similar to illustrate.

Looking for any reason to distract her thoughts, Suzanne looked at her reflection in the mirror behind the bar. What she saw was not the normal, care-free, and somewhat straight-laced twenty-four-year-old she was used to seeing, a woman happily married and living in a nice gated suburban neighborhood. The woman looking back at her from the mirror was a complete stranger, the opposite of everything she had been. The woman in the mirror across the bar was dressed for sex, her long wavy ‘bronde’ hair cascading over her shoulders and resting upon the unconcealed swell of flesh at her chest, her breasts bulging and practically hanging out of her immodest cocktail dress.
The satin black dress hugged her body like a second skin, leaving little to the imagination. The deep neckline unashamedly exposed more of her natural 35C fleshy mounds than she was comfortable with—but once again she had little choice in the matter. The dress was held gingerly to her body by two thin straps, and without them, the dress would have left her half-naked, the back of the dress completely opened down to the soft swell and ‘Y’ of her ass.

That probably answers the top three questions, LOL...but let me explain.
I've been working on Lifeguard Gets Wet exclusively over the last 2 months. This weekend I was staring at the same page for over 3 hours trying to get into it and it just wasn't happening. I wanted to write, but as I stared at the pages of the new content I was writing, I couldn't write.
It wasn't necessarily a case of writer's block, just that I've been working on the same story nonstop for so long. Typically when I write, I'll focus on one particular story, but every so often I'll dabble into something else, and I've been trying to get Lifeguard done for the storyboard I put everything to the side...much to my detriment. I am approximately 65% done with Lifeguard. It's been going slowly, but I am now at a point where I know exactly what I'm going to write...so the next 35% is not going to be as long...but I've hit sort of a plateau in terms of momentum.
Then I decided to do a little housecleaning on my hard drive. OMG I had a lot of shit. Mostly programs that I never used any longer, games I haven't played in over a year, that sort of thing. Then I hit my Story folder.
As I was sorting through it, I realized I had THREE finished pieces waiting for my "final" review. The first chapter of Extenuating Circumstances is a three parter...and all three parts have been complete for MONTHS. I simply put them aside to work on Lifeguard and never got back to them.
So I opened EC0101 and started reading...and reading...and editing. I am about 75% of the way done and I will have the first release hopefully uploaded to Literotica this coming weekend. I know it's not a continuation of any of my other stories, and it's not even the one I've been working on since April. But at least it's a story release.
The good news? That was EXACTLY what I needed to get back into the mood for Lifeguard...and I wrote about 15 pages yesterday afternoon of new content for it after taking a break from EC...so my muse is back...she just needed a little variety to get her juices flowing.
Won't have much time until the weekend again, but I'm going to finish up the first part of Extenuating Circumstances, get it posted, then it's back to Lifeguard...with little breaks here and there for EC0102 and EC0103 ;)
So good news I guess...it's been so long since I've had a release, I'm hoping people don't mind it's a new story from me and not one of my continuations....

Update 07/13/2015
It's been a while but haven't really had much to report. This past weekend was one of the more productive weekends where I was able to complete my re-do of my Lifeguard story. The last half that I had written (about 60% through with the story) had never sat well, and as I mentioned previously, did a re-write of it. I still had several pages to go through, and finally finished where I can start to write something NEW. I had thought I had reached that point last weekend, but as I started to look through the last couple pages, things just didn't flow well enough so finished that up this weekend.
Summer has always been a slow period in terms of writing...both due to work picking up (end of the fiscal year for us) as well as family visiting. Although my son has moved in, it still feels like he's just up for the summer, so we're still adopting to that...things will feel weird again in the next month or two when it finally sinks in to both of us he's here for good, LOL.
Lately with work, my son up, and everything else that happens during the summer, my writing time is limited to only a few hours each Saturday and Sunday...so it's just normal for things to slow down. Hopefully my urge to keep writing will continue and I hope to get my Lifeguard story done "soon" and start working on Lapdancing 06...then Annie. Have lots of ideas, just no time to put them to "paper" so it's simply waiting for things to slow down and have some time...
