  1. Glad ya getting a new comp as all pc owners can relate to what a pain in the arse they can be. So we have the start of "YET" another story (starts banging head on wall). O.K. intervention time so the new story is def interesting "BUT" you need to focus I remember when you were pre-patreon and would state quite clearly that this was a non paying hobbie only............. Well now you are getting A little stipend (which from my point of view is there as an incentive to light a little fire under your muse). I can relate to main life demands on your time, as we have all got those. But please please please focus more................. pretty please.....

    1. Right now, with my main system dead and waiting for the new one, I'm in sort of a funk, completely out of my element. It's pretty much a physical "writer's block" as my writing is completely limited, as is all my computer use. I have my laptop, which basically allows me to get online, use Word in a limited capacity, and that's about it. My laptop just doesn't cut it...the resolution is less even when hooked up to my main monitor, the thing is sluggish, and I can't get into my typical writing mode because everything is too different. I can't even play the games I typically do to take a break in-between writing scenarios.

My entire writing environment has changed. My desk is all cluttered due to having to take away my main system, remove all the wires and such, and make room for the new computer. In the meantime, my laptop is sitting on my printer so I hook it up to my main monitor and at least not have a limited myoptic view of the screen due to the laptop...but the resolution sucks.

That I'm even writing anything at ALL is somewhat of a miracle until the new system comes in. So right now I am simply writing when and what and how I can as I wait for the new system to get here and I can set it up in my little corner ove the universe in the basement and "get into the mood." So yes, there's a new story because I'm really not "into" things right now...it's either that or nothing, and I'm sure most people would rather see SOMETHING instead of no movement at all as I wait for my new system.

The secondary story is ALWAYS going to change depending on my mood. You are just seeing what goes behind the scenes more, as I'm being completely transparent. You see where and what I have the inclination and time for...and with everything computer related sort of turned upside down until the new system gets in, my mood has been all over the place.

Working on the primary story, in this case Lifeguard, is something I set time aside for and write in large (2+ hours) timeframes. The secondary story is one of those I'll write for 30 minutes here, 30 minutes there. Typically that one comes when I first wake up in the morning and had a dream or thought and I know I need to get it written ASAP or I'll forget it it. A few weeks ago that was Extenuating Circumstances...my Muse simply pointed me in that direction and I wrote until something else came to me...What's in a Name. Lately, with my mind all over the place, the thought of Good Girl came to me...and again, it was one of those "have to get this on paper before I forget" scenarios.

Until my main computer arrives, I'm probably going to be all over the map in terms of stories, because my laptop just doesn't cut it...

I knew this was going to happen which is why I contacted the Tier 7 person and suggested they stop they patronage for the next month until things settled back down and I could actually focus on Lifeguard again. And that's the beauty of the Patreon system--if people don't like how things are going, they can lower or cancel their support. I posted the newer story because I thought people wanted to see SOMETHING, even if it's something new due to my lack of time and space. So if you want to lower or cancel your patronage until I get my new system back and not see anything, I completely understand. Right now things are too much in a flux with my limited internet bandwidth on my laptop, everything all skewed around, and such that I can't promise movement on the primary story and the secondary story will be all over the place depending on where my mood takes me.

Just is what it is at this point :(

  3. And now I'm not sure if I should even bother writing anything until my new system arrives...

  4. Hi, just wanted to comment that I would love to see you posting stories more frequently but I fully understand that life sometimes gets in the way. I definitely would prefer to see any story from you even if it is a new story than nothing at all.
I really liked your newest story "Good Girl" and would be happy to see some more of it, although I pretty much like most of what you write.

By the way, your new computer looks really good. Should definitely make you happy. I myself bought that same monitor a couple of months ago and it's been one of the better upgrades I've made in a while. Just make sure to inspect it when you get it since there have been some complaints about this particular monitor regarding Acer's QA (too much backlight bleed, dead pixels, dust in the display, etc.). But apparently it has been getting better in the last couple of months but just make sure it's good. I got a really good one that I couldn't be happier with.

    1. Thanks for the feedback, it's much appreciated!

I received the monitor Friday, so will unpack it and check it out based upon your comments. As you said, lately it's gotten better, so hopefully I don't have any of those particular troubles. I debated on a new monitor, but this one had such good reviews had to get it, LOL!

Much appreciated! I know once things "settle" down I'll get back to Lifeguard, but right now it's what it is, hehehe.

  5. .First I would like to say that I appreciate that you are asking us your fans about where we would like you to be going with PEON. The fact that you are sharing with us how you write and your challenges is a sense of accountability that I am sure all your true fans appreciate. At the same time, I would like to voice out that there is a certain amount of frustration that many of us are not voicing (you guessed it right, it’s not only the 3 emails you got) because we are trying our best to respect your efforts and candor. This frustration for me personally stems from the fact that as a DIE HARD fan, we’ve been waiting for 2 years for a story that is on the cusps of completion (lap 6) and instead of seeing it completed, we hear of new projects. My frustration comes from that, I feel exhausted by the “so near yet so far feel”.

May I suggest that you post what you have on stories that are super awaited, specifically Lap series. In the past this would not have been an option, but with your tier 2 and tier 3 setups, you have opened up your creative process and open the gate to works in progress and even outlines of entire series. This has pretty much satiated, or relieved frustrations for me in the series you previewed.

    1. I pretty much have two types of stories:

"main stream" or primary stories which are some of the more thought out stories. Annie, Lapdancing, Lifeguard, and to a lesser extend, Director Jekyll and Dreams fall into this category.

All the others are more-or-less my "secondary" stories where I've gotten sudden inspiration and started writing as soon as the ideas popped into my head.

So pretty much the "secondary story" is where ever my Muse takes me. The primary stories are the ones more "funded" through the Tier 7 position. With my computer out of wack, things are going to be slow until hopefully next week when it arrives, then I'll have all of November to finish up Lifeguard. Once that Tier 7 request is completed, there is already somebody waiting on the sidelines to fund Lapdancing through its entirety...so patience, hehehe ;) It's coming soon...and should be a nice "Christmas" gift for everybody ;)

  6. The outlines has given me both faith and interest in the series (EC, What’s in a name, Swim). And the previews have given me my fix because I know there is nothing in these 3 series that was written that I have not read….So I know I just have to give you time and space to create content. But to know that there is 100 pages of the much anticipated Lap 6 (with 20 pages previewed) is a perpetual frustration….the so near yet so far feeling. So for me if you could release the outline and draft for Lap 6 in tier 3 or 2….or as an act of genersity even to tier 1, I think it would sort of let us move on, knowing that there is nothing within our reach, and that the series is in your good hands with the outlines.

Just my 2x2 cents. :) Once again love your work!!! And looking forward to more stories…just let us get over that nagging lap 6 draft that we know is there, so that we can be patient once again.

  7. Glad to read about the new rig! You deserve it and I'll have to wait till next year to get my new rig, my laptop died a few months ago and I'm using this IPad in the meantime, bleh!

I'm patient and I'll be glad to read the next story you publish!

    1. Yeah, I was having to come to the mindset of not having anything other than my laptop for the next 6 months...which sucked because the writing was starting to show a little income through Patreon and my artwork was even starting to have returns in a book offer and commissions...and was going to have to put everything on hold.

Thank God for mothers, hehehe. Mine knew how I would be over the next few months without any main computer and offered to pay for it now and I can pay her back during tax season. Bless her!
