It took longer than I wanted, but I finally finished the draft of Good Girl Gone Badder, the second book in my Good Girl Gone Bad trilogy and have sent the copy off to my two volunteer editors! I am hoping to have the edits back by US Thanksgiving (end of November) and get the book published in December. Before that, I will be putting the book on pre-order, as well as putting GGGB1 on sale for a limited time...will announce when that happens.
This past weekend I turned my sights on Lapdancing Girlfriend 06 (and there was much rejoicing). I'm going through the entire chapter, so for those with access through the Patreon site, expect to see plenty of updates! Once back in to the swing of things, I'll be finishing the chapter and turning my sights upon Annie Babysits the Kids (and there was more rejoicing).
I'm also busy working my graphics, and would like to get GGGB1 Illustrated out early 2018. I need to look in to whether I need to IBSN that version or not, as well as some of the finer details of releasing it to a secondary avenue from Amazon, but those are minor things compared to the mountain of work to get the illustrations done.
I know it's been a while since I posted, and apologize. The last month was pretty hectic and I pretty much did nothing--writing or graphics, but finally back to everything, so expect to see some updates somewhat regularly again!

DeleteI just got back the editorial version from one editor last night, so plan to go over it this weekend. Waiting on the second, but I am still shooting for an "end of December" release to get it out in 2017. I tried to set up pre-orders this weekend, but you actually need to post a version of the book for pre-order and if you go beyond the data of the pre-order ETA, it automatically posts the rough draft version, which I am trying to avoid. But as I said, still trying to get it out by a 2017 deadline!
Are you still on course for release............. release of ya book thats what I wan't to know about. Feel a bit weird now.

ReplyDeleteUnfortunately the patreon has just been updated by doc's daughter with the tragic news that doc passed away in December. I'm going to up my pledge for the month, in what is probably a pointless move but I cant think of anything else. Please keep the whole family in your thoughts and prayers.

In my opinion if anyone adds anything to some of the stories it should be done under their own pseudonym, not just some vague “Fans of DocCIS” where number of people have collaborated. If any writer or writers (with plenty of experience given the esteem we all have for the previous stories) would want to add then they could obviously request input from any of the fans out there.
DeleteAlso, what would count as “finishing the stories”? Adding to the draft of the sixth chapter to wrap up the next week of the story wouldn’t bring Jen/Diamond’s story any closer to a satisfactory end. Don’t really see how you can finish the story and I would be cautious about who to do anything like that in a respectful way. Just my two cents…
Setting up someway to share the drafts (a final rough draft to Gone Badder would be great), and I would suggest something like CHYOA if people want to add something to the Lapdancing universe (I've written some over there). Could be a way to add some drafts of unreleased scenes and some fan driven storylines, either with the focus on Diamond or something else (I once suggested to Doc that I would do something with the pornstar twister, but never really got anything done).

My condolences to his family and for this to occur on the journey from hobby writer to paid...my the inner light continue to shine and inspire all of us that it is never too late to change ones course in life!

However, I don't feel comfortable sharing it because Doc wrote it with the intention of publishing it for monetary gain. With his passing, the rights to his stories belongs to his family. So unless they express their wishes to have the story published/share for free, I am not in a position to share it publicly.
We did try to set up a team to continue Doc's stories but that quickly fell apart and I'm the only one left. Unless other writers are willing to commit and help out, the series will never continue. Currently, I'm trying to write a story on Rachel, the missing agent. If anyone wants to assist, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Someone made a very valid point that Doc wrote the Lap Dancing Series for Literotica. Although GGGB2 cannot be published, I do share the same sentiments with another fan that the latest series, Chapter 6 in the Lap Dancing series should be shared.

Currently, there is an attempt to write about Rachel, the missing agent from the LapDancing Girlfriend series. I can't remember which one of the fans mentioned it, but the idea was that Rachel went to go to work as a spy after leaving DSA.
Running with that idea, what if Chuck was a necessary evil? And that DSA was created strictly to fund off the books operations? That would explain why Chuck has been able to get away all these years and it would also give Rachel an "out" from DSA because she was needed elsewhere.
So far, the description of what Rachel should look like or whom she should resemble is open for discussion. I would like to know what your - or perhaps any other fans - thoughts are on Rachel.
Please post on Doccis's blog to advise the other fans of the good news. With your help, the series may continue after all.

I remember that too... but his last idea was to publish it on amazon. So legally his editor is right. His family has the last saying in that!

I never even read theise types of stories before i found docs stories, i always had opinion why would i read about that stuff when i could just watch it, well by reading DOcs stories i found out how wrong i was, since i have tried to read some other stuff but non of it was as good as DOCs so i would very sad if i never got to read GGGB2 or anything else he has written not on Literotica.
As it seems Lapdancing GF ch. 06 cant be posted, since ck isnt an editor (literotica wise).
