Good Girl Gone Badder completed!

It took longer than I wanted, but I finally finished the draft of Good Girl Gone Badder, the second book in my Good Girl Gone Bad trilogy and have sent the copy off to my two volunteer editors!  I am hoping to have the edits back by US Thanksgiving (end of November) and get the book published in December.  Before that, I will be putting the book on pre-order, as well as putting GGGB1 on sale for a limited time...will announce when that happens.

This past weekend I turned my sights on Lapdancing Girlfriend 06 (and there was much rejoicing).  I'm going through the entire chapter, so for those with access through the Patreon site, expect to see plenty of updates!   Once back in to the swing of things, I'll be finishing the chapter and turning my sights upon Annie Babysits the Kids (and there was more rejoicing).

I'm also busy working my graphics, and would like to get GGGB1 Illustrated out early 2018.  I need to look in to whether I need to IBSN that version or not, as well as some of the finer details of releasing it to a secondary avenue from Amazon, but those are minor things compared to the mountain of work to get the illustrations done.

I know it's been a while since I posted, and apologize.  The last month was pretty hectic and I pretty much did nothing--writing or graphics, but finally back to everything, so expect to see some updates somewhat regularly again!

Patreon Announcement: August = Free Tier Month!

Things have been a bit slow, so to award everybody's patience, as well as an apology, I am making August a "free tier month!"

 

For those who have not participated in the past, basically I will give you the next higher tier FREE when I do the permissions in August. So Tier 1 people will get Tier 2 access, Tier 2 people get Tier 3 access, and so on.

 

Although things have been "quiet" in terms of the postings, I have not been idle, but lately I've been working on another author's work to possibly publish illustrations for, so that has taken a lot of my weekend time usually devoted to writing. I needed the rest as the last scene of GGGB2 is mentally straining...keeping track of a gangbang is rough work, hehehe.

 

This will also give most people a "last chance" viewing of GGGB2 before I pull it from the site for publishing. Once I finish the rough draft, I'll be going over it to send to the editors before publishing, so I am not sure if there will be one more update or not...so catch it while it's available in it's unfinished draft before it goes out on Amazon!

Updates June 2017

Holy crap, I've let this page slide...almost three months since my last update...

I try to keep my Patreon page updated, and make the posts visible to everybody.  It's only the "Patreon specific" posts I hide, so if you are ever wondering what is going on, that's another place to hit...or just e-mail me.  I routinely get 'so what you working on' e-mails and always reply...some leading in to some interesting discussions, LOL!

Had a request for some images from Lapdancing Girlfriend Chapter 04 which got me to rereading the chapter....and of course, making changes.  It's amazing even after having it reviewed by people the number of mistakes one can find.  One of my goals is to redo Lapdancing completely for publication, so this was a good start.  I've added and changed a bit in the chapter, but nothing major to the plot development.  Mostly have done some minor rewrites of paragraphs so things flow better.

I also have been working on several secondary stories as the mood hits me.  What's in a Name, Extenuating Circumstances, and a new story, Undercovers Assignment have all gotten a fair amount of changes and additions.

In addition, I've finally gotten back in to the swing of Good Girl Gone Badder, the next publication to be released on Amazon.  I had been doing a reread of most of the story, and things are finally getting in place.  Also worked on some new stuff this weekend.  Although I don't like ETA's, I hope to get this story to my two editors for review sometime in July, and pushing for an August release.  Time will tell how much I stay on track, but a year between publications is not too bad for some authors.

I've also worked on quite a few graphics for various stories.  This weekend, to give me some inspiration on describing a particular outfit, I worked on two pieces taken from Good Girl Gone Badder, so here they are for your perusal!

This outfit is from the final scene where Katie goes to the biker bar...so consider it a teaser for everybody!  ;)

Things slowly getting back to normal...

I know I've been quiet these past few months.  The loss of my best friend really took a toll and for a while I had absolutely ZERO inspiration to write.  Sean was my best friend for over 25 years, and his loss is a palpable presence every day I am awake.

I have slowly gotten back in to the swing of things.  Patreon supporters will see I have been updating Grim Fairy Tails quite a bit lately.  I am working on combining all the stories in to a single book release, which is good practice for Lapdancing Girlfriend when I go to tackle that aspect.

Right now I have no idea what's going to get released first...Good Girl Gone Badder (book 2 of my Good Girl Gone Bad series), What's in a Name, Grim Fairy Tales, the next chapter of Lapdancing Girlfriend, or the long-awaited next chapter of Annie Babysits the Kids.  The chapter releases will be on Literotica, while the others are going to be Amazon releases.  It's more of trying to build up steam on one story to sit down and write again.

I've also updated some images on the Patreon site.  I still plan to do some illustration releases, the first looking to being Teddy's Time, which will be sort of a comic-book type release.  I've opened a store on Renderotique (part of the CGBytes group including Renderotica), so that is where I will be publishing the book, as it is "too graphic" for Amazon.  I will probably post all my illustrated books there once I figure out a pricing scheme...they cut for vendors on that site is a bit more than Amazon, so have to price accordingly to try and make up the difference.

I am also looking for an Editor for my book releases.  I will post more on that later, but I am looking for somebody who has a solid grasp on English, is familiar with US American dialects and slang, and is willing to do more than just get a free copy of my stories.  I've looked at professional editors and they will cost over $1000 per book, and considering my Good Girl Gone Bad publication did not even earn half of that, I would not be making any revenue...so looking for somebody who is willing to work cheap as well, LOL!  Again, nothing to add yet, but I will be posting something soon to see if any fans want to take a stab at it before I try somebody probably from Literotica.  I do not have much to offer, but will get you free access to ALL my Patreon shares as some compensation, and if the book does well, possibly some royalties included.  Sean was my editor for Good Girl Gone Bad, and he was going to be my editor for all my books...he did an excellent job and this is the least of what he did in my life to cause me to feel his loss, but it is felt none the less...

So there you go, what I've been doing for the last 3 months wrapped up in to a few short paragraphs.  As usual, always looking for your support...your posts, e-mails, and comments are what drive me to write, and right now, I could use a bit of incentive to get back in to the swing of things...

A little quiet...

I apologize for the lack of updates.  First it was the holiday seasons, which I did get some things done, just haven't posted them yet...hopefully that will be coming soon.

Last week my best friend of 24-years ended his life...so I have been numb and waiting for this nightmare I've been living to end...to wake up and find out it is all a dream.  As such, my creativity has been in the shitter, and I apologize for things not getting updated in time.  I will make it up to you all as soon as I get out of this funk, probably something similar to December's Free Tier...but will let you know.

Again, apologize, obviously things have taken on some different priorities lately as I take care of his wife and help her with arrangements and whatnot...  :(

Ponderings...

Last night I was in a writing mood, but did not know what to write.  Looking for inspiration, I went to Literotica...

I was disappointed.  Every story I tried to read had so many grammar flaws, so many mistakes and incomplete sentences, and what I thought was even worse, disjointed plots and sentences that made the stories unreadable.  It was as if somebody pulled a bunch of sex scenes from a bin and then had a fourth grader add them together to make a story.  Actually, I think a fourth grader's grammar would be better.

This is not the first time I've been disappointed trolling Lit.com...but it was not as apparent as last night when I spent THREE hours going over stories trying to find something that triggered some spark.

Am I alone in thinking stories have been going downhill...or has it always been like this and I never noticed?  People have said they enjoy my writings because they are involved, they are descriptive, and they have plots above the average "this is my hot wife, we had my friend come over and she spread her legs and let him fuck him" type stories.

Have I become too picky and cynical in my writing career that nothing but my own work seems to meet expectations?  I don't think I'm great...I'm not that egotistical, but from what I saw last night, I write a whole lot better than the majority of people who are posting on Lit these days.

Makes me wonder how some of the bad comments I've gotten even arose when there is so much crap already out there, LOL.

Anyways, my 0.02 cents worth...needless to say, found nothing really to light that spark and went to bed frustrated and not having touched any of my stories...hopefully better luck these next few days when I have some quiet and alone time  ;)

Update 11/16/2016...

Have been working on trying to get Good Girl Gone Badder (Book 2) out by December...but hit a bit of a brick wall in terms of writer's block.  I'm still hoping to get it done by the end of the month so I can work at least on Lapdancing Girlfriend 06 if not give Annie 08 some love...but we'll see how it goes.  Have some real life issues I'm sorting out which has led to some set backs in terms of time writing...but that should all be resolved by the end of the year.

For Patreon supporters, December is "Free Tier Month."  Everybody gets the next tier free...so Tier 1 folks will get access to Tier 2 content.  Tier 2 get access to Tier 3, and so forth.  So if you've been holding off on pledging, now's the time to do it...as long as you sign up BEFORE December 1st, you'll get an extra tier's content.  I am doing that as much as a "thank you" to all of those who have supported me, as well as an apology for this past month being so slow.

To try and get through my writer's block with GGGB2, I worked a bit on What's in a Name, as well as a story I've had sitting for years--Undercovers Assignment.  The first I've talked about, the second is a somewhat of a rewrite of CCA 069 by xgretchenx on Literotica.  I have tried to contact them for YEARS asking if they would mind if I did a rewrite, and finally have given up and writing my own story.  It is not a rewrite, but sort of along the similar lines of a girl who becomes a corporate spy; however, it is much more involved and I foresee at least one more "book" following this one.  For those who like the FBI twists in Lapdancing Girlfriend, this one should appeal to you as well.  Our protagonist--Vanessa--is not as reluctant as Jen/Diamond, but she gets involved in as much intrigue.  I'm even considering another crossover into Jen/Diamond's world between the two stories  ;)

Have also been working on 3D graphics for GGGB1.  I'm working on the largest scene I've ever done and it bogs down my machine like crazy.  Just loading the scene takes over an hour, and even broken into multiple pieces, it's taxing to say the least, hehehe...but hope it will be well worth it!

Hope everybody has a safe holidays...not that I don't plan on updating until then, but Thanksgiving is coming up in the US, so wanted to wish everybody a safe one!

Update (finally!) 10/03/2016...

It's been a while since the last update (a month to be precise).  For those who have followed me for some time, you know summers are always bad...both for writing and for updates.  Between family, bumming, vacations, and just the general hub bub, things move slow.

But Fall is now upon us!

This weekend I took a good dent out of Good Girl Gone Badder (GGGB2).  The second book in the series is about 2/3 done, so have passed the halfway point.  I am now on the last "major" scene of the book, so I'm hoping things will be wrapping up on the first final draft this month and I can get it "editorialized" and hopefully have something to publish for November.

In addition, as I needed a break from Katie, I looked through to see what struck my Muse's chords and did some overhaul on What's in a Name...so the higher tiers have that to look through as well.  Not much changed, it was mostly grammar and revising some paragraph structures, but it's a lot "cleaner" than before and hopefully flows better.  Won't be focusing on that story for a while, just needed to clear my head for GGGB2.

I've also updated all the GGGB1 graphics for the various Patreon tiers, so you should see a bit more in terms of teasers for the upcoming illustrated version of GGGB1.  That book will come when it comes, not going to rush it, but it's coming along nicely...

Once I get GGGB2 done and waiting for the editing (which will be done by somebody else), I plan on focusing on Lapdancing 06 and Annie 08.  I'd like to get both done by the end of the year.  I HATE giving out ETA's, so don't hold me by that, but I know Annie has waited longer than most to come out (so much the play list I have for her is out-dated, hehehe), so am trying to get my immediate plate clear to give her some loving (hell, if the story were real-time, she'd be old and grey by now!)  ;)

Again, now that we're in the Fall, that has been historically my most productive times of writing, so hoping you'll see a lot more movement on things, and sorry for the lack of communication this past month!

I want to thank the people who have commented on my book on Amazon!  As a result, there have been an overall increase in sales as well as rankings (I've been in the top 500 for Erotic Romance all week).

I know a few people have said getting comments was going to be difficult, as well as a few pointing out studies showing people are more likely to comment on BAD things as opposed to GOOD things...so the half dozen or so ratings and comments I've received (all five-stars by the way, so thank you again) have definitely influenced others in to buying the book.  Hopefully that will have a snowball effect leading to additional people coming here on the blog as well as the Patreon site.

A few people have also commented on their disappointment my focus has turned more towards making money versus posting free stories...and I wanted to comment on that for a moment.

First of all...this blog, the Patreon site, and now the published book have all been at recommendations of you, my fans.  None of this would have been possible without you, not only through your support, but by your recommendations.  I still plan on posting stories on Literotica.com and work on all the stories/series posted there--while also making "book" versions of those very same stories.

My focus has not been as much as making money, but by exploring the various options of distributing my stories and diving head-long in to it.  If I do something, such as publishing a book, then I want to do it right.  Nobody wants to fail, so if I see sales declining--even during such a short period of time--and ask for comments, it is less about how much I will see in royalties than where the book has ranked, what people are saying about it, and how I can improve its circulation.  At least for a while, anything I make from the books--like it has been on the Patreon site--will go towards feeding additional stories and graphical content.  I am looking at sales as simply another way to determine "success" of the book.  It's less about trying to make a quick buck and more simply by trying to succeed.

But again, I do plan on continuing posting to Literotica, while also promoting the books and such.  As you know, I have troubles writing more than one or two stories at a time without cross pollinating them, so this summer, it was focusing on the publishing aspect.  Once I get the other books done, it will be towards Lapdancing and Annie and posting chapters on Literotica.  I doubt it will ever be a continuous growth on all aspects at once, so simply ask for your patience  ;)

Somewhat disheartened....

I get all these comments wishing me well on the book, everybody on this blog as well as Patreon, and all I can get are 3 reviews for the book?  And one of those is obviously the Amazon bot for new authors...

Sales are so-so...I did not expect anything huge for my first release, but the number of comments has left me a bit disheartened.  Wondering if I should even continue at this point..the interest seems to be rather low.  Not sure if it's simply the lack of "Kindle" devices (even though there are Kindle versions for iPhone, Android, as well as PC) or what...but welcome any comments people may have...

Looking for people to go and review my book  ;)

A lot of people have offered support over the years...some in the way of comments and feedback, others by pressing me to move forward first with this blog and then with Patreon, and finally with publishing my first story on a paid site.  I know a lot of you cannot support financially on Patreon, and am forever thankful to those that do; however, if you cannot, if you wouldn't mind taking five minutes or so out of your life and posting a review on the book, it would be appreciated!

The main US Amazon page is here...but you can search your own country's Amazon site for the page there...we often forget there are "other" Amazon sites and they do not cross-pollinate reviews from what I can determine, so the more the merrier!

Some pointers from Amazon's site on writing reviews:

• Include the "why": The best reviews include not only whether you liked or disliked a product or service, but also why. Feel free to make comparisons with related products or services you’ve experienced.

NEW RELEASE...

Update Sunday, August 7, 2016

I received the notice from Patreon all the billing transactions were done, so have updated the Dropbox permissions...expect the usual 'spam' of messages granting permissions to the new shares.  There were two people whose payments were declined and have notified them, so hopefully it was nothing too involved and those get resolved.

I know it's been a slow month...between traveling and the usual summer crud I've been dealing with, I do apologize.  I have not been idle, as I've been fervently working on the final edits to Good Girl Gone Bad (GG1) and am in the process of figuring out how to convert it from a MS Word document to a format suitable for Amazon to publish.  It's not too difficult a problem, but I have run across a few formatting issues so am trying to figure those out.  So the text version of the book should be good to go sometime latter this month!

The illustration version is about 50% complete.  I have been working initially on the draft images, and will be cleaning them up and making  a few tweaks but hope to be finished with them this month as well to get both versions released.

Other things I have been working on are GG2, a my #Hotwife#Seduction book, and have been looking through both Lapdancing and Annie to figure out what to do with those as well.  I've also peeked at a few other stories...so things are moving forward, I just don't have as much to show for it as I would like.

I will be updating the images for Patreon supporters soon.  As I said, have a lot of rough drafts, but some of the images are a bit involved and taking some time to render.  The current one, for example, has been running for 6 hours and is only 75% complete.  The longer ones I try to do overnight while I'm asleep or working, so even if I'm not myself doing something, something is progressing!
I once more would like to say THANK YOU to everybody who is supporting me.  Without the incentive Patreon has given me, none of this would have happened--the book, the illustrations, and simply busting my butt to keep going even on days when I am not in the mood.  It is greatly appreciated and hopefully there will be more returns as I get to the final stages of this first book and have everything figured out!

For those on the who visit the blog site, as I have mentioned, I am working on some of the Literotica content as well...so I am hoping the next chapter of Lapdancing and Annie come out after all this book business is figured out...so more will be coming from that as well!  Although I hate advertising, Patreon now has become the best way to see additional content and give a better indication of progress, so there is always that option if people are "antsy" on seeing what has been happening.  Tier 2  supporters actually can read the current drafts of both Chapter 08 of Annie Babysits the Kids and Chapter 06 of Lapdancing Girlfriend, as well as the current draft of my second book, Good Girl Gone Badder, the sequel to Good Girl Gone Bad.  Tier 3 supporters get previews of my secondary stories, primarily my new story #HoteWife#Seduction, and I will be setting up my other stories to be viewed there as well this month.

Been a LONG month!

I apologize for the lack of updates...have been planning and was out of town taking my daughter to perspective colleges all this past week and it's been a whirlwind tour of the New England area and hot, sweltering heat and sun.

By the time I got back to the hotel, was completely whipped and after showering and eating, ended up crashing early every night, even thought I brought my laptop with ever intention of working on my writing.

I'll hopefully be posting some new images for Patreon supporters this weekend, and hopefully will have some time to work on at least Good Girl 2, if not something else once I decompress from 7 days and 1200 miles of travel by car, LOL!

Once I get GG2 completed and GG1 published, I'll be turning my sights on Lapdancing Girlfriend and Annie Babysits the Kids...so there WILL eventually be an update to Literotica posts sometime.  Although I try not to give out ETA's, I'm hoping it will only be a month or so to get to them!

Dropbox permissions set...sort of...

Got the Patreon message stating the payments for this month's supporters have gone through...there were three people whose payments were "Declined" and have sent them messages on Patreon.  Sometimes simply waiting a day or two and things go through, but if you get my message, you may want to verify things.

There seems to be a problem with some of the Dropbox folders.  Tiers 4 and 5 I am unable to "share" for some reason.  I have a support ticket in with Dropbox so will let you know.  In the meantime, I've e-mailed the Tier 4 and Tier 5 folks a link to the box so they can get to it directly...

Things are moving slowly on my book...currently still editing the final version of Book 1 while working on Book 2 and my other stories.  Summers are always bad timing, and with visitors and work and just wanting to get out and enjoy the days, the writing has sort of lagged behind.  It's still progressing, so hopefully there will some fruition soon!
